Visual Artists of St. Albert

The Visual Arts Studio Association of St. Albert (VASA) is an artist run centre in the centre of the Arts and Heritage district of St. Albert.

We have exhibition space, training facilities and 19 studio spaces. Our facilities are open to the public up to six days a week.

We welcome visitors and new members. Our exhibitions change monthly so there is always something new on our walls. When you visit it is very likely that you will meet one of our visual artists. We are always happy to talk about our art and share the creative experience with you.

VASA is a cooperative workplace and gallery where ideas are shared, experiments are encouraged, and excellence is applauded.

Each year VASA participates in St. Albert's Art Walk and other community events. We are managed by a Board of Directors and supported by The City of St. Albert, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and Canada Council.

Our mandate is to provide studio and exhibition space to professional and emerging visual artists. We support the professional development of visual artists in the community by offering workshops, lectures, camaraderie and alternative exhibition space.
